46 Resumen Considerando las bases teóricas de Lawrence Krader y Jesús Montoya, en este artículo etnográfico se trata de interpretar el ritual que acompaña al mito de los Pilan- chichincles o “airecitos”. Se describen las características del pueblo de Coatetelco, donde se celebra y a manera de comparación, se comentan los trabajos que se han escrito sobre este mito y ritual desde 1981 a la fecha. Finalmente, describimos el ritual a los Pilanchichincles en Coatetelco, en 2018, al que asistimos, y lo comparamos con los ante- riormente estudiados en la bibliografía. Abstract In this ethnogical paper we consider the theoretical basis of Lawrence Krader and Jesús Montoya to interpret the myth and the ritual of the Pilanchichincles or little aires. We also write about the Coatetelco town, where they ce- lebrate the ritual and we also talk about the works written upon these myth and ritual from 1981 up to date. Finaly, we describe the actual ritual and we compare it with the known works and we the last ritual to the Pilanchichincles in Coatetelco, in 2018, and contrast it with the ancient one presented in the bibliography.
